Terms & Conditions:

  • We welcome one dog per adult max.
  • Dogs are only allowed on January 1st, 2025.
  • Bookings for the Dog Light Trail are from 5:30pm onwards
  • Dogs must always remain under adult supervision, never being left unattended.
  • Dogs must always be kept on a short lead with no extendable leads.
  • All guests including dogs must stay on the clearly marked footpath at all times.
  • We welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds if they are friendly, well-socialised, and comfortable in public settings.
  • Warwick Castle reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any dogs showing signs of aggression or distress and deemed a safety risk to other dogs and visitors.
  • Please clean up after your pet and use the bins provided.
  • The Light Trail includes flashing lights, smoke effects, loud music, and large crowds. You know your dog best and how they will handle this!
  • Dogs are welcomed throughout the light trail and festive food and drink market.
  • Dogs are not permitted around the ice rink.
  • Dogs are free to enter the event, with no ticket required. If you’ve already booked your tickets, there is no need to let us know that you’ll be bringing your dog. 
  • Water stations will be located along the trail to keep your furry friend hydrated.
  • No fireworks will be used at the event to ensure a calm and enjoyable experience for all.

FAQ's

Dogs are welcome throughout the Warwick Castle Light Trail but are not permitted inside the castle or near the ice rink. However, they are allowed around the food stalls by the ice rink. 

Dogs are free to enter the event. If you’ve already booked your tickets, there is no need to let us know that you’ll be bringing your dog. 

We welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds, as long as they are friendly, well-socialized, and comfortable in public settings. Aggressive dogs or those showing signs of distress may be asked to leave for the safety and enjoyment of others.

Yes, there will be water stations located along the trail to keep your furry friend hydrated. We also have designated pet waste disposal stations, so please be responsible for cleaning up after your dog. 

No, we avoid using loud noises or fireworks at the event to ensure it is a calm and enjoyable experience for both dogs and their owners. 

We welcome one dog per adult handler. This ensures that each dog can be comfortably managed for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on the trail.

Waste bins will be provided around the grounds, please bring bags - you can place these in any of our bins. 

We will make every effort to accommodate you should you miss your time slot. However, we can't guarantee entry due to popular demand. Please speak to a member of staff when you arrive. 

The majority of the trail is outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Dogs are welcome to wear festive attire if preferred, but it is optional for each owner. Just be sure that your dog is comfortable and able to move freely in their outfit.
