Pageant Field
The Pageant Field stretches out along the riverside, providing sweeping views of the Castle. The field was named after the famous Warwick pageant held in 1906 by the Earl of Warwick, to commemorate 1000 years since the conquest of Mercia by the formidable Aethelflaed. Members of the community gathered in costume in a magnificent event to celebrate the milestone year.
Landscaped by the famous Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, the field is tailor-made to enjoy a stroll through the picturesque grounds.
